OPALFILM Anti-shatter films

Anti-shatter films stabilize window glass and prevent the scattering of shards in the event of breakage. A polyester film with a thickness of 115μ – 230μ gives the glass properties similar to laminated safety glass (LSG), resulting in high resistance to breakage. Even if the glass itself breaks, the film holds the fragments together to prevent them from scattering. The Materials Testing Agency (MPA) of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, has determined that the film meets the requirements of the DIN EN 12600 standard.
