Specialized films absorb up to 99.5% of harmful UV radiation within the 300–380 nm wavelength range. Effectively blocking UV radiation prevents all types of objects from fading due to intense sunlight. At the same time, the colorless polyester film is practically invisible, and its surface is scratch-resistant and easy to clean. Thus, these films provide effective protection against solar rays while remaining unseen.

Depending on the overall concept and individual needs, OPALFILM® UV protection films are supplied as transparent systems or in various tints. In addition to excellent UV protection, tinted films provide effective heat protection. This is achieved through the light tinting or metallization of the film during the manufacturing process.
